KoolKad is operated by FAMILI ALIYAS CREATIVE VENTURES, SSM 202603025695 (SA0648690-X). This policy explains how we handle information about customers, children featured in invitations, and guests.

Information we collect

When you create an invitation, we collect the details you submit, including the parent or host name, email and phone number, child name and age, optional photograph, personal message, event date, time, venue, map link, dress code and RSVP deadline. We also keep order and payment references and support communications. Guests who RSVP provide their name, phone number and number of attendees.

Wedding demo and waitlist

If you join the Wedding waitlist, we collect your email and any optional WhatsApp number and wedding month or year you provide. We use these for launch updates; WhatsApp updates require your opt-in. You can contact us to leave the waitlist. The demo uses sample invitation content.

How we use information

We use information to create, host and display invitations, process and verify payments, provide order management and RSVP features, respond to support or refund requests, protect the service, and maintain records required by law. Hosts can view RSVP responses for their own invitation.

Children and invitation visibility

An adult parent, guardian or authorised host must create the invitation and have permission to provide any child information or photographs. Provide only information you are comfortable sharing with guests. Anyone with the guest link may view the invitation, including the child photograph, event location and host contact details included in it. Guests may forward the link; it is not an access-controlled private album. Keep your separate management link private.

Service providers and payments

We use hosting, database and file-storage providers, including Vercel and Supabase, and the payment provider shown when you pay. Relevant information is shared only as needed to operate the service and process your order. Providers may process information outside Malaysia. We do not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Payment credentials are entered with the payment provider. Do not send us card numbers, passwords or security codes by email or WhatsApp.

Browser storage

KoolKad uses browser local storage to remember invitation drafts and RSVP details and support return visits. On a shared device, another person using the same browser may see saved details. You can remove these by clearing this website’s browser storage; doing so does not delete records already submitted to us.

Retention and security

We take reasonable steps to protect information and keep it for as long as needed to provide the service, handle disputes and meet legal record-keeping obligations. Do not treat an invitation as permanent photo storage. Contact us to request removal of an invitation or uploaded photograph.

Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw consent, by emailing familialiyas.my@gmail.com. We may need to verify your authority over an order or child’s information. Some records must be retained for legal obligations; withdrawing information needed for an invitation may prevent us from continuing that service. Guests may contact the host or us about their RSVP information.
